I like many other people watched this happen live. I will never forget where I was, and what I was doing. Remember all those who lost their lives in this terrible act, and support our brave men and women who are fighting to prevent such acts in the future! God bless the U.S.A.
As a NYer and watching this while at work standing on 5th avenue in shock......I can honestly say I will and cannot and will not forget this day ever in my lifetime. God Bless for the lost and there families.
Excellent thread Mark. Thank you for starting this. NEVER FORGET!!!!!!! Our trip to NYC last year....
I remember that morning in Memphis...I usually logged in to the news sites to see what was up and was wondering why I couldn't get to any of them. Then someone said something about a plane crash in New York...we went to the break room to watch the tv and saw the rest of the day unfold live... Definitely something I'll never forget...
Its hard to believe its been 7 years since that fateful day. The entrie day at school we just listened to the radio all day. I still remember the very uncomfortable silence in my classroom when the second tower fell. Always remembering the men and women who died that day.
ya damn right we shall never forget and won't forgive, damn bastards, makes me sick every damn time i think of it, ooo they make me sick. a moment of silence at 9:03am tomorow everyone:cry2:
God Bless the fallen from this heinous day. I was still active duty at headquarters PACAF in Hawaii, and this nightmare started for us at 3-something in the morning that day, will never forget. Again, God Bless the fallen and my hope is that we continue to avenge this for a long damn time...
jesus, i had just gotten to work and was turning on all the tvs in my tech shop and saw this come up. i thought it was fake for a good minute or so. then everyone at bestbuy (about 100 people) just wandered up to the helpdesk and just silently watched the replaying of the mornings events. the towers hadnt dropped yet and only one building was hit. give me goose bumps too just thinking about that day.
I swear I can still smell it every September 11th.... will be down at GZ on Saturday to pay my respects
I had the unfortuneate experience of seeing the 2nd plane hit on the news brodcast. I'll never forget the feeling of going from OMG what an unfortunate accident...to WTH?!?!?!This wasn't an accident...someone needs to pay!
What a sad day to remember, God bless those who lost their lives and God bless those who serve to protect ours.
Here Here, its a very painful day to remember, I was called into work the day after, I can still smell it and see it, I remember seeing morgue spray painted on a wall for the fallen. God Bless us all....
To all those who lost there lives seven years ago, :rip: To all those out hunting the bastards who did this down, :usflag:
