I would like to add Kooks headers to the package and maybe the Quaife and minus the Predator because I already have one. It will most likely be around $8000ish installed. What do you guys think? I'd say you can't go wrong with that package, HHP is tried and proven. Instead of the LSD I'd consider some stronger half-shafts, unless you plan on road racing. I'm sure Milan will chime in on how happy he is with his HHP set up. Keep us posted.
I'm actually considering the same package (and by considering I mean saving $ for). I'd love to hear what you final results are and how you like it.
I like my package a lot as we've discussed before. So far, very reliable and extremely streetable. Timid at idle with this cam and my idle is set to 800....but you know something's alive and well under the hood. I would even consider getting you're factory headers' bead polished out and holding off on the Kooks to use somewhere else. This will give you better bang for your buck IMO. I spent a buttload on the Kooks with Cats and Jet-Hot coated and honestly, I only did it for peace of mind....to know that the heads are flowing at their best....but in hindsight, you can spend the money elsewhere and still make a better HP/TRQ gain....hell you can get the shafts and the LSD lol. At 9000, it's difficult to say if it's WORTH it, but I know you're like me....the new supercharger packages coming out are very tempting as well Tony....and I'd seriously consider them as contenders for your cash too. I think Sting Ya is selling his Procharger kit for like 4400G over at the OC. He's upgrading to a Z06. Very little miles on it too.
Will do. I hear you on the headers and I may just forget about that. I really want some F/I but there is no way I can do it without forging my bottom end, to me F/I without forging is just a time bomb waiting to go off. I really want a TT setup but I cant really find anything under $10k with the forging the bottom end, this is driving me nuts. I need more HORSEPOWER!!!!! Anyone have any prices on forging the bottom end in the NYC area?
Dew it Tony. Get the LT's though. They go great with that package and with tuning, the HP increase will be seen throughout the powerband.
DEW IT DEW IT DEW IT DEW IT DEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and i think you should dew it too....it will be a good time
Can ya hold off for a little bit? I dont know that I can get Halfshafts, Do Vegas, Have my truck painted, and buy new golf clubs all in one year when you add in the stage 2 pack hahaha
As Ron says "dew it"........and you cant go wrong dealing with HHP...one of the best vendors here to back products IMO...
Other then letting Erik do my install the only other vendor I trust after all this time is HHP, just by word of mouth. Thanks!
Erik is my man...if hes gonna do your install let me know when your going to do it...I will either go with you or meet you and have him do my halfshafts at the same time
