Last night on a late night run to the grocery, I had the windows down. When I tried to use the auto-up feature on my passenger side front window, it went up about 4-5 inches, then stopped. I tried the auto-up again and the window scrolled down. I tried this three or four more times, same thing until finally I just held the toggle up to roll the window up manually (well, not manually, but not auto, right?).

I turned off the car, did my shopping, came back out and rolled down the windows again. Out of curiousity, I tried the auto-up again, same thing. I'm thinking maybe after nearly three years, my window motors are finally about to poop out, just wondering if any of you experts have any ideas before I call up the dealer about having it checked out.

    Thanks,
    Tam

Doesn't sound like the motor as it worked fine with you holding the switch.

Could be a programing glitch. Try reprogramming them first.

Mine will do that randomly, and then go back to normal. No idea the cause though.

Pull the sticky binky out of the window channel.

Hold the switch up for 5-10 seconds, try the auto up/down option, then if it deactivates it, hold it up again for about the same amount of time- should fix it- fixed mine at least.
