8/30/08 Guaging Interest In "Package Cars"

CMJ is always looking for New idea's and new ways to bring the public what they want. I am looking to design 2 Package cars and what I mean by that is this: An all motor 426 package with everything needed for the swap (IE Long Block, Trans upgrades, axles, limited slip, Gaskets and Bolts, and a preprogrammed tuner) And a F/I Package similar to Powerhouse's car ( IE Long Block, Supercharger package, Trans Upgrades, Axles, Limited slip, etc. etc.) But I want to know if there would be any interest in the packages. Similar to the Edelbrock performance packs we would rate the package by Horsepower and would offer options But it would be an All Inclusive "kit" so to speak. There would be no need for any other parts and all you would need after the fact would be the install. Does this sound interesting?

Great idea. Have you thought of an N2O package as well?

 

I personally am looking for something exactly like this. I've got a piecemeal list of similar mods that I plan on doing later this year.
