I have a 07 SRT magnum, I would like to install a custom exhaust setup and have the tips exit in the center (just like the Jeep SRT).. anyone know if I can purchase a rear valance like our stock one but without the cut outs on each end for our stock exhaust?

    Cheers

    That would look badass.

To my knowledge, I do not think there is a Defuser (that is its real name) made like that. You will more than likely need to have one custom made.

    PM FreebirdSRT for some contacts.

After thinking about this a bit, I do not think you will be able to run a center mount exhaust. Here are some underneath shots of the Charger...

You might have better luck looking for a Diffuser made like that. :eek:oh::grin:

hey ron, do you have living creatures in your engine? I noticed the mesh over the exhaust outlets. You have a beautiful backside. What kind of exhaust is that?

Those are the Zoomers. I no longer have that exhaust system. But they were awesome when I was bone stock.

Performance is just like any other catback. Only a few hp increase if lucky.

I am running the BWoody true 3" exhaust. Look in their section for my video's on sound.

Won't work cause of the spare tire well in the middle that ... does not contain a spare tire, lol! If you do get something made it'll have to have some tight angles in it and that prolly won't be good for exhaust flow but wth, it would look bad ass!!

Since there is no spare tire in there you could probably take a large hammer and beat a tunnel in that. Little bit of heat shield and you're good to go.

True, I'm trying to think what's in there. The battery is off to the pas side but what else is in there, can't remember? Heck you prolly got who knows what down in there, lol! J/K! Regardless, doing a center exit exhaust is gonna require some major modding but I still think it would look cool.

Nothing is really in there. I have that cell foam insert with the air pump on the left side and a square storage area for the rest of it (with about 50 lbs of tools in it). From under the car, it's not flat so there's enough sheet metal to make a tunnel wihout stretching/tearing it. Looks like something round is bolted to it towards the front. Mount for the sub? fuel pump? Where's the gas tank?

I was just looking at my sub yesterday actually (got plans in the works to move it) and it's mounting bolt is right behind the rear seat on the drivers side. Is that what you see? As for that tire well since you can see both sides of it (top and bottom) I suppose it would be ok to pound it out to make some exhaust pipe fit. Right?

Yup. Look at the bottom of the pan from under the car. Look up towards the front of that pan, slightly left of center. There are like 5 or 6 bolts sticking out in a circular pattern about 2" in diameter. Something is bolted to the pan on the inside. Is that the sub mount?

Oh and the mesh on the exhaust is an illusion, its actually what the interior of the tails looks like.

Hahahhahaha, you want me to look under my car?!?! Have you forgotten how low it is and how big I am?? Hahahahhaa, not gonna happen buddy. I'll take your word for it on the 5-6 bolt thing. From the top side there's only one bolt for the sub but that doesn't mean there's not more below. Haven't you ever taken out your sub before?? Just one bolt to unscrew and one connector to unhook, it's just a pita tho.

Of course. But that's a substantial bolt. I'd expect it to be welded to a bracket that's bolted to the floor. You don't have to get under your car. Just get your head down there behind the car and look. If you can't bend over then just fall down on the driveway and roll towards the car until you're close enough to see.
