Oh and Milan.......to get better dpi/ print quality.... select the image you want from your picture, cut or copy it. then go to new image, list the size, and....
on the third bar where the number 72 pixels / inch... go with a minimum of 300 for quality when printing... it goes up to 500 btw

Sweet...thanks for the tip...I was doing it the hard way. I would take the existing pic and size it up in dpi in increments up to 300...took longer but I thought it gave the software a better shot of keeping things clear and concise...Never thought of doing it that way...duh.

Hey Jon, weird thing happened when I tried this tonight. I copied a pic and then pasted it into a new image with a DPI of 320 since when I save it as a JPEG it drops a bit...anyways. I don't know whether or not cropping it made it lose res since I saved the new file and looked at it's image information and it was at 100. It started at 72...bumped it to around 320, saved it, and now its at 100. Then I kept upsizing the dpi in increments upto 300 but keeping the overall size dimensions of the pic and it took...am I missing something?:fever:

If you want I can give it a try for you. Just give me the pic/size/dpi you want.

Thanks alot guys. Sorry Andrew, I did think of you though and Casey (6.1luvr) actually but thought someone would surely see this thread. Appreciate the photos for sure guys..didn't want to make anyone go out of their way..the 6 shots I have now should work....

Jon, I'm gonna try that again using photoshop this time..if not, I will just do it the way Ozzie suggested to me by upsizing it in increments.

Nope, I did the exact same method but in Paint Shop Pro. Figure it would work but nope guess not. I just find PSP so much more user-friendly. It worked though using Photoshop. Thx
