When the '09 Challenger comes out with a 6-speed, it has a different, higher rearend gear ratio. Why wouldn't we just buy that part once it's available? Even if we bought the entire differential, I'm sure Chrysler won't be charging $4,000. We'd still need to buy halfshafts for 2 grand. I'm thinking that may be the best/cheapest route.
A little birdy in my tree as stated that Chrysler is sourcing out upgraded halfshafts for the 09 Challenger.

*tries to remove foot from mouth* lol talk about bringing back the dead. After our conversation this morning John, this setup is awesome. Sorry for the mummbling, but my foot appears to be stuck. lol
I actually got a call here yesterday from a gentleman who works for Chrysler and he's interested in our rear end set-up for his own Car! Thats big right there when a Factory guy wants your stuff that means he knows it's better then his own. So Far we have Powered the 2 Fastest Magnums in the USA. Lou Montgomery Has a Track Killer equipped car and Nathan Herschbach from Red-Fox Racing. As a Matter of Fact Lou had Killed 3 Transmissions yet has had No Problem with the rear end.
This is really geared (pun Intended) towards the Heavy Hitters who want the best they can get for the Track and Street. Richmond is working on gears for the stock stuff for us right now.
Forgive my ignorance on the lingo John. Before Quaife went tits up I was planning on adding a LSD, and 1000 hp halfshafts. Is the carrier a LSD?
I already have the Quaife and GSM 1000HP halfshafts. PM me price please. You going to be looking at transmissions? Welcome to The Connection from Chandler AZ
