FAU! Florida Atlantic University We have only had a Football team for about 6-7 years, and Div 1 for 4...but we won our Conference last year and our first Bowl Game against Memphis....look out for the Owls in a few years...We have 'ol Howard Schnellenberger as our coach! We open the seaon against the Texas Longhorns!!! Other than FAU..I am a Canes fan!...not a happy one the last few years lol!
Had a FULL ride to the U of A back in 94-95, on a baseball scholarship, but didn't go due to personal reasons. Still, I have always loved that school since I was in 3rd grade and my mom worked there. Go Wildcats !!!
I was born into a Crimson Tide (Univ of Alabama) family, but had the bad fortune to grow up in Volunteer (Univ of Tenn) country. Ended up trying Rose-Hulman for a couple of years, found out I'm not "engineering material" and came home and went to Western Kentucky, got bored and quit. Currently going to Kaplan, which I'm not even sure has a football team at all since I'm attending online. But hell or high water, I will have my bachelor's before Maddy starts school!!
Ohio State University. Woody Hayes spoke at my graduation. Not many know he was an avid military historian.
say so right here...sort of >---l .........................................l <----------------------------l Sorry I kept you waiting so long...:bigwink:
That is cool! "You win with people." I wish that I could have heard him speak. This is where I graduated. I am sure that nobody has heard of the school. It is a Division III private college in Berea, OH (suburb of Cleveland). 1978 Division III National Champion (football). Jim Tressel was QB there, playing for his father in the early 70's. Harrison Dillard - 4-time Olympic Gold Medalist was a graduate. I am a "The Ohio State University" fan although I am not as fanatical as most everyone around here. I aslo root for Penn State when they are not playing OSU but more of a professional sports fan than college.
