Very cool man! It does kind of look like a fish or something to me a bit but mint nonetheless and I could respect a nice Mopar

Ooooh!!! And its not ugly, its "Mopar Pretty". :bigwink:

At least that's how I describe my love of all things mopar, even the not so "pretty" stuff.

Did you consider a 413 Max Wedge for the 62? The 426 wasn't availabe till 63. I almost bought a 62 Fury 2DR hardtop with a 426 Stage III and a 3 speed stick shift in 1964. It had a time slip of 12.63 in the glove compartment. I had my dad talked into it until he saw the timeslip.

Beautiful car. Brings back memories to the old guy.

Would have been nice to see a long CrossRam on that.

I had a 426 in a 55 Chevy with the long cross ram which hung out past the opposite side valve cover. Had 2 780 Holley dual feeds with velocity stacks.
This was in 1969. People scratched their heads when they heard that gear reduction starter in a Chevy.

My engine came out of a 61 Chrysler 300G convertible that I junked. It was in pretty good shape too. Bored from 413 to 426. It had the long the long crossram. The 62 MaxWedge was a 413 with the short crossram.
