For those of us that have been around since the beginning of the SRT8 days.... Remember a Jet Chip and thermostat was the basis of tuning your car lol, and someone going 12's was considered amazing. What a long way we have come...Diablo Tuning, A mulititude of safe/reliable supercharger/turbo options, Heads/Cam Strokers, Nitrous....we have cars going 10's. When I sit back and think where were were a year ago...two years ago...it is amazing how far we have come and the choices that are available today..and its only going to get better!
It's true. Things got soooo much more exciting with the release of a true tuning solution although I did lovbe my B&G Stage II at the time. Now, it's just collecting dust in a garage cabinet. I can't believe we haven't seen more ten second cars yet though. I hope this coming fall and cooler temps bring more. Pretty amazing when you think of how much our rides (and the Jeeps) weigh.
haha not i, thats been the gay mod for a loooooong time. it truly does amaze me though what some of you have done with these colossal beasts. they just seem like too much car to go that fast haha.
i rememder those days.2-3 years ago,there was nothing out there for us exept ''gsm'' and hennessey performance. the aftermarket has come a long way for us HEMI guys and girls.
