Might be the dumbest question I'd ever ask

My fan mod stopped working . I did the 25 cent mod on all three relay and its not coming on and i know the fan works because it come on and the dealer just put on a new high speed fan module. I just cant figure it out.:cry:

 

Why is it a dumb question? I'd be willing to bet it is a bad relay. There are three on the FCM and they work together to control the fans. The relays are the same I believe and can be found mostly anywhere. It could be the actual fans and the dealer replaces them with the shroud from what I've read.

Why are you using the fan mod anyway? Set your fan settings in the predator and don't worry about it.

I can't even remember the last time I used my fan switch.

Oh yea, could be a relay or more likely, the switch.

 

I did the 25 cent mod and jumped it and it still not coming on. and I know The fan work because it comes on with the predator.

 

I use the fan mod when the car is off to cool it down in between runs.

 

When the fans come on with the predator, do the low speed and high speed ones come on?

 

At first just the low speed so I took the car to the dealer so they can fix the high speed fan . They said they change out some high speed fan module.

 

Hmm, wonder if it was a relay. They may have swapped out the whole FCM then.

 

Check the switch.

 

The switch works because the relay clicks when the switch is turn on.

 

So the fan should be coming on with the switch. I'm getting confuse myself.

 

What ended up being the issue, my fans went out today.
