Good question....I have seen many posts on the LX and Viper forums about the Magnaflow exhaust rusting out........personally I have had Magnaflow on 3 different vehicles without problem...If I had a Challenger today I would be ordering the Magnas for it.....my brother has put 65K+ miles on his Magnaflows on his Charger RT and they still shine..

All that said there seems to be maybe a quality control issue with Magnaflow...some seem to have problems while most dont..

Yup, My old Magnaflows had well over 18K miles (through rain, snow, ice, and heat) and there was not an ounce of rust to be found.

Cam, that is too FUNNY! lol

This is an ongoing problem with the Magnaflows Keith....I have read other threads with your problem....that exhaust in your pictures is not a quality SS....but most Magnaflows perform excellent...my brother drives his car almost everyday through rain, snow, salt and every other condition....and puts 20K miles a year...at 65K plus his exhaust looks great an is still tight...mine has about 10K miles and still looks almost new..but others have your problem so there is some quality control issue...

Yeah i drive my truck everyday so i got the magnaflow to last. well as you can see it did not. so now i have a crappy flowmaster and a shitty Midas job for tailpipes because i was broke at the time. but hey Kevan made me one bad ass tip to make it look 1000X better than any magnaflow!
