I'll start this year's Mopar Nats media thread off. I didn't get many pictures as to the failing performance of my camera, but.... Here's Brian showing off the recent mod to his Ram.... My next mod? Walt's bad-to-the-friggin'-bone Charger..... Keith took a TON of pics from the track, and I know WAZZSUP has a bunch of video coming. Get ready for more!
Sorry about the rain, Tom. If it makes ya feel any better we got hammered with rain driving home as well. BTW- In order to throw the wipers in the truck, you need to FIND them first. It was great seeing you and your sons again. Oh, and the Red Sled! Someone go wake Keith up and get his camera. We need some pics uploaded ASAFP. He's probably under that pile of Natty Light empties.
Just called the dealer....wipers not under warranty when you remove them in 05' put them in the garage and throw them away in 06'......damn those Dodge dealers. Wonder if I can buy just the drivers side ?
An absolutely BEAUTIFUL day, sunny and about 80F. Here's where it all happens: Here's the view from the VCA suite in the JEGS Tower: Very nice (and quiet...heh heh) Old-school NASCAR-ized Daytona: Two SRT-C members: One of the new Pro-Stock-ready Challengers: NOICE! OLD SCHOOL Sox & Martin Chally: Pure power-shifting goodness! One of the 6 Challengers used for the re-make of "Vanishing Point": (I like that they left the dirt on it. LOL) One of Richard Petty's old NASCAR rides: Not sure if it's a replica/restoration or not, but it looked REALLY nice. I always dug custom vans when I was a kid, so I had to get a few shots of this guy's ride: Brought back memories of doing custom designs in my notebook during 8th Grade history class. This purple thing was so badass: Zoomies out of the back of the front fender! Too cool. The dish was so deep on the rear wheels, Pizza Hut is suing for infringement: Keith *had* to give this bad boy a '2 Thumbs Up Seal of Approval':  That's it from me. Expect a bunch more from TurboBuckeye, Keith and Brian!
Ok here are some pix I took! Nice hood from a few feet back up close??? The only PT i would ever buy! Viper taillight in an SRT-4! Oh and we already marked the date for next year!
We were there last year for a few hours and had an absolute blast. Looks like it was another great showing this year. Great pics Keith.
Some POS 300 competing in Modern Hemi Challenge On the way up. Unfortunately I did not get him at the apex. He went the whole way up onto the back bumper. On the way down. Only damage was a crushed oil pan.
Hey "Pugsley"!!! Keith and I watched one of your later runs on Sunday from the VCA suite. The announcers were surprised by both you and the blue SuperBee's respective smoke shows. LOL Too bad about that red light thing.
I know, I'm a jackass. I could have sat there and left a whole second late and won that race. Oh, well. I dialed more than a second faster than anyone in the class but still broke out both times. My car was running good for only CAI, Exhaust and Tune.
Nah...no worries. Practice makes perfect. Plus, it really didn't matter what the times were; the smoke show was packed full of win.
Friday, August 8th Day #1 - Mopar Nats are finally here!!! TB representing the LX-platform in the "RWD Modified Class" of the Carshow  Overall Brice Road was a dud this year. :erm: I heard from other folks the action was much better in Heath even though traditionally the Friday night cruise is suppose to be on Brice Road. Gonna keep that in mind for next year...... Best pic of Friday night - Scott's custom underhood lighting and orange AAC halo's
Saturday, August 9th Day #2 - Everybody on time (almost) and ready to caravan to Mopar Nats.
