another me vs a mustang gt

Well I made a new friend today. I was coming home on the freeway in semi mild traffic. I see a mustang making some lane changes to get into the open air and behind me. Well when he does I jumped on it and so did he...i put a little ground on him. I was surprised. So I slow down and he gets next to me. He yells at me lets go from 40. I was like bro there is to much traffic right now. Then asked him what he had done. He said supercharged...So of course I go oh cool me to and then asked him how many pounds. He said 10 and I told him my 6. Well we yelled back and forth a few about tunes and stuff and traffic had opened up a lot while we werent paying attention. He nailed it and I followed suit. I spun a bit but by the end of third I went from 1-1.5 back to dead even. I got up next to him and asked him where he was getting off. We took his exit and shot the shit for a bit in a parking lot. Cool guy. Interested in cars not just specific brands. Turns out he had a cobra block and a true 10psi. He was floored that my car pulled on him. And to be honest so was I. I had my 22s on and the canned vortech tune in...he was on 18s and tuned. Now the tuning of my kit begins...I cant wait!

OK im curious Hal...I know your not working on your post count like the EQ but was there more to this statement? Is your gt modded? Were you saying thats a good outcome? Is it supercharged and if so do you have numbers? Because I havent been to the track yet and I with her untuned I wont but I am trying to figure out about where she runs...I would guess low 12s to high 11s atm. Just asking...

Not modded that much. Underdrive pulleys, Airaid CAI, and Borla Cat-back. Biggest improvement was a SCT Dynotune by my buddy Keith at AZDynoChip.
The GT pulls pretty hard from a roll. Launches with minimal tire spin. I think it would beat a 5.7 but not a 6.1. Feels like very low 14's, high 13's.
It seems much faster than it's 260/260 rwhp/rwtq. The autos lose about 40 HP over the manuals.
