I posted these results on my 90mm thread but the Twin CAI that I was able to test deserves its own thread. This test was done on my 6.1L with FRI street heads, Tomahawk cam, Arrington 90mm Throttle body and port matched intake manifold. We are comparing the C&L to the Twin CAI and no changes were made to my CMR tune. Its a little hard to see the numbers in this picture but its obvious the gains were across the board. I gained 14 hp and 18 tq on this pull and on another it was 12 hp gain and a gain of 20 tq. Sorry, pictures are not available.
Its a prototype that I was asked to test. Im sure the designer/manufacturer will chime in here real soon.
Anything is OK for a direct comparison John. I just like everyone to use SAE Smoothing 5 for peak HP/TQ runs. There can be quite a bit of difference from STD Smoothing 0 (raw) to SAE Smoothing 5. Many feel that SAE Smoothing 5 is the most accurate. It takes out little peaks.

Dan, I can't thank you enough for conducting all the test you' ve done. I know all to well how time consuming and expensive it can get. Maybe to answer a couple questions, even though Dan already made it very clear. This is not twin or dual throttle bodies. This is a true twin air intake system that works with our stock 80mm units and the larger ones as well. And lets now BS anybody, I have a hard time with the term CAI. It breathes ambient air all day long.....how's that. The next system will be a true CAI, but I digress . Anyhow, there will be no pictures just yet. But if you've ever seen my twin 65's, it's close........................sort of Anyhow, the unit is going on another members ride for some additional testing very soon.
$10's says I can chill a 12oz'r in one 1/4mi pass...........................muhahahahhahaha! With this system, it's a dedicated instalation. There is no such thing as.....well.... lets toss it on and see what it does. :stars: But between you or/and Hal, lets see what happens. This unit is now on it's way to another well known member that's a track star for some more testing.
