    Hey, all,

Doofus, the two-toof mechanic that worked on replacing the rear diff in my car indicated that everything went well.

Since having the work done, at slow speed going over, say a laneway curb or speed-hump (not the EQ type), the rear suspension has been creaking and occasionally makes a low metallic boing-ing noise...technical, I know.

It started on the drivers side but is now doing it on the passenger's side.

This a simple fix? Did "two-toof" just forget to lube me up in the rear end?

    J.

lol Sounds like my old ass bones. haha

Seriously though Joe, I would check to see if ANYTHING is rubbing on another part (lol an EQ open door right there).

I.E., check to see if the halfshafts are rubbing on the shocks.

Oh, and makes sure the exhaust is in use with the rubber hangers. That may be it as well.

Sounds like the dumbass pulled the control arms and knuckles to get the axles out.Check all the bolts to the knuckle.

speaking of that....i had a HORRIBLE noise coming from the ass end of my car after i had my cats installed....

theres a little metal brace thing i guess you can call it by the mufflers....

when they moved the exhaust....they never put that back up into its proper place and the exhaust was rubbing against that little brace.....made a god awful noise in teh car and had some real bad vibration

so if they moved the exhaust when fixing the rear end thats at least something to look at i guess.....but probably not...i just wanted to feel like im helping haha

Thanks all...I'm still a multi-quote virgin so you'll have to take my reply this way. Eric, I think you may have a great point, although all others are warranted for sure so and I'll get under her this weekend.
