Huh? Weather? Bro, where you at, weather is never an issue at Infineon. It's just north of San Fran and is always cool in the late afternoon/evening. And it hasn't rained around here in months!! Plus the track is almost at sea level, it has about the best DA you'll find! You thinkin of another track??

I know, I saw Cam's thread for Sacto but I'll be in Oregon then so I thought I'd shoot for this. Next time maybe I'll be able to meet up with you guys!!

Yea Milani baby, I'm takin the minivan too!! HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA!!

Yep! I finally emailed the track since they weren't answering the phone (although Dave got thru on his first try) and yea, they sell helmets there. Dave already put a deposit down on one!! I just gotta make sure they got some ... er ... less expensive ones than Dave picked, I don't got one of those money trees growin in my backyard, lol!

BTW guys, did I see Chris finally took his beauty to the track?? Awesome, cept for his time ... 13.45?? At only 106?? He should have been WAY faster than that shouldn't he?? What am I missing??

Yea, and let's just say some are even MORE than that! (Dave ... :fear:) I was lookin at ones in the $200-250 range, that's about all I can afford right now. I've still got 2 track days coming up I want to do as well as getting some CF interior pieces and BT underhood pieces also. And everyone wonders why I haven't got the Predator yet, lol!

BTW Stevo, you notice the line in my sig??? Wade made me do it, hahhahahhahahhaaa!!

i would rec checking craigslist in your area. people sell their used helmets all the time. some are really nice that they sell for cheap, even with a custom paint job. thats how i got mine.

We need it TOMORROW. I can't afford the helmet either but I figure this will be the only helmet I ever buy. No problem, I got plastic!

nothing quicker than picking up the helmet from a dude in your city. just do a quick search on craigslist in your area dave. infineon doesnt rent helmets anymore? i could have sworn they did last time i was out there.

Have fun guys. Be forewarned though, this is elimination based and LOTS of people show up so you only get a few runs and that's if you get there early and nail down your ET pretty well. It is a nice track, just not as much fun as Sac where you can run all you want.

E-bay has cheap new Snell-rated helmets (what is required at Infineon) for as low as $80. I forgot the name of the place but just search "snell helmets (and your size)"

I'd also check some used helmets (without any scratches of course lol) because people are always selling them. Anyways, Chris ran his car in like 2400 DA so it would have been a different at "near sea level" lol. (that's what you missed) ;)

Primary objective is to get in a few runs BEFORE the bracket racing.

And that would mean you get more runs with less waiting as the night wears on right?
