Yes, the day finally came......... legmaker saw a REAL race track for the first time in over 20years!!!! lol friday night at the southeast shin-dig has the local drag strip host the lx folks for some fun and racing!!! unfortunately, like last year, it was hot and humid!!! temps were over 95*!!!! i believe the d/a as around 3200, but i have yet to confirm. i scanned my time slips, but they are not showing up to well!! will try again..... highlights: 13.45 @ 106mph first run cut a .000 light on my fourth race!!! only perfect light of the night by anyone!!! low lights: left the line in 2nd gear in my third race and had an r/t beat me by 5 cars!!!! finish in a blistering 15.00!!! dahahahaahahahaha all in all tons of fun and i will be doing much more of this soon!!! especially now that scott (1fst4dr) has spent my money for me and has a nice nitrous set up all figured out!!!! lol pics and videos to come!!!
Come on down and get some N20 or a Super (cough cough) Charger!!! Nice job Chris, great job on the .000!
Nice Chris! I really need to get to a track..................even if it is the "Q"! Sorry to hear you got beat by a 6 banger......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAoh:
Holy Cow Chris!!! You raced your car?!!! I am shocked into disbelief!!!!!!! Sounds like you had a great time!
I haven't raced my car yet so my cherry is still in tact...you like the sound of that don't ya!LOL Glad you finally raced your car and had some fun.
<picks self up off the floor after passing out> Chris RACED his garage queen? WTF? So am I to assume that Scott finally caught his bunny and Chris found the RED gas can? lol Great job on the runs Chris. You make me proud!
rotglmao!!!! yeah...... cam helped scott find his bunny and the red gas can was finally had!!!!! it was fun and very addictive!!! i am sure i will be doing this much more often!!! the track was hot, the air humid, and i could not get the car to go better than 2.1 60ft times.... really not bad though for a guy who has not lined up a car on a 1320ft track for 20 years!!!!
Chris, I am sooo proud of you bud! Sounds like you had some fun. Oh, and don't fret too much...in some good air, that would have put you in the 12 second club my friend. Nice light you cut too! WOW. I suck at that haha. I still don't get why they hold the Shindig in one of the hottest months of the year....in Georgia lol..but it is what it is.
Chris, Great meeting you! That is one ultra beautiful ride. Unbelievable reaction time, I guess the 20 year vacation from racing did you good. Bill
GOOD JOB CHRISSY!!!! is this a not going to ever happen again sorta thing or do you plan on going some more?..... you need to protect the purdyness of the car to make sure she doesn't get hurt haha
tell me about it!!! it is tough to try and "smooth" into the pedal when you have a completely fused right ankle!!!! the plans are already started!!! will probably be calling bmc soon for some fuel rails, nitrous set up, fittings, etc..... scott (1fst4dr) has already made plans for a weekend install at the house when it all comes in!!! woo hoo!!! now to find some extra cash in a hurry!!! lol kinda what others were telling me that night as well! i think when i get to one of my local tracks this fall, i will hit the 12's without issue, even if i leave things like they are motorwise.......which i am not!!! lol thanks bill!! it was a treat to meet you as well and for the lesson on transmissions you gave me!!! you are one smart guy!!! i will be doing more steve!!!!! no doubt!!! the only thing i need to figure out is how to remove all the rubber from inside of my fender!!! lol you know it!!! pervert!!!! :getlost:
