Can't believe we're doing it, but we're gonna be leaving Cali(9 years for me and a lifetime for my wife).I have an opportunity in Phoenix I just cannot pass up. I'm going to be taking the GCSRT8 out there Monday on it's longest road trip yet, 418 miles. I'll be working Tuesdays through Saturdays in Phoenix and flying back to LA for the weekends. We went out there several weeks back and looked at property and it's just nuckin futs what you get for your $$$ out there. That and gasoline is like 30 cents cheaper, not to mention the overall cost of living. I'll be staying at the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center during the week. I have no worries about packing, moving, or even renting and buying, but I am worried about how long it'll take to sell the house in Woodland Hills. My house is down 150K from one year ago..... For all the SoCal peeps I will miss you, but we'll keep in touch through the forums or the tele. I look forward to meeting the AZ clan in the upcoming months.
I'm here Andrew. Although I'm leaving for Vegas early tomorrow AM. Will be back on the 8th or 9th. We have a few Phoenix peeps on here. Some don't spend much time on any forums. AZLX is on LXforums. Most comunication is on there on local stuff. Not many GC's here. DanRealtor's neighbor has and GCSRT8.
I know you're there so I'm sure we'll meet up somewhere at some point. Obviously Dan is out here doing his thing at GSM so I don't think I'll be seeing much of him. I remember his neighbor has one, a female if I'm not mistaken? In a way I'm glad there aren't too many out there, definitely makes the BEAST even more special. I am kinda bummed that the few members of the "forums" in AZ don't seem to be too active though.
Drew... you are leaving us here in Cali... Did the quake make up your mind??? LOL Also I know a lot of the AZ crew and they will take great care of you and they have tons of meets... Going to miss you over at VCR!!!
Yup, me too bud. I'll be back here periodically as we have tons of friends and family over here. We'll only be 400'ish miles away. My parents are close in Vegas and my sis is not much further in Del Mar.

Thanks for the warm wishes fellas. I grew up in AZ until 7, moved to Vegas till I came to Los Angeles for college at 18, and I just so happen to already live in a pretty damn hot part of the valley here. The heat is worse in Phoenix, but won't be a shocker to me. Especially not with a pool and a fridge of Coronas!!!
I'm glad I got to do a west coast road trip last year... flew into Phoenix and drove to Vegas and SoCal from there.... Phoenix was one of my favorite spots, and I'd love to come back to visit! One of the more memorable experiences in Arizona was the food... Paradise Cafe in Chandler and Heartattack Grille in Tempe were awesome. --Russ
