    I was thinking maybe (?) a retic.. But yea, it is very difficult to tell. I am thinking that the snake is in shed, which would make sense to the warning shot and the dull color.

    I miss my Albino Burmese Python. She was 2 years young at 14 feet. haha Eating 2 10 pound rabbits a week.

    Judgeing by coloration,tall length and head size I don't think its a retic. Other posibilties are....

    green burmese

    or granite burmese

    If its a burmese then its a female considering its length in comparison to neck and head size. Also is probably still young , maybe 3 or 4 years depending on diet. If it is a amethystine python then its a very old one. Im still thinking it could be a amethystine judging by tail length, retics and burms tails are not as long. There is also a posibility or a patternless african rock. regaurdless its 1 of 4 pythons. Reticulated, Burmese, African Rock, or Amethystine. Those 4 are the only ones that could even get that big.

    Ron, you should try the National breeders expo one year, you'll see some of the wildest mutations of snakes posible at that show! FYI its at the end of august in Daytona every year. http://www.reptilebreedersexpo.com/

    I used to go to the Expo in Seattle back in the 90's.

    A friend of mine used to breed many different Pythons and Boa's. So yea, I have seen some freaky breeds. haha

    Big snakes are somewhat easy to manage with experience, you want a challenge try one of these!!

    She had only been in captivity for two months when I got her! Also caused $11,000 in reconstructive surgery on the guy I got her from!

    You'd be surprised at whats out there now! Did you know they even have dwarf burmese now? and dwarf retics that don't get bigger then 7 feet!

    The point in having them that small.....

    FloriDUH just passed a law to where any snake over 2" in diameter has to be chipped, and the 5 large Constrictors ( Retic, Anaconda, African rock, Burmese/Indian or Cylonese and Amesthystine) you have to have permits for. also, I'd love to get another retic but not while I have a 2 year old daughter at home!

    That is because most of the IDIOT snake owners don't know what they are doing. Or they get too big, so the IDIOTS let them lose. UGH! Just like BAD Pitbull owners...

    And yea, I don't blame you on that one. A two year old is prime feeding for Retic.

    I would love to raise another Albino Burmese. Rabbits are expensive now a days. lol Back in the 90's I think we got ours for $ .50 cents a pound.
