I have one question...what type of hose is under the steel braid? I replaced my original fuel-line that came with the BT catch can when I bought it with some crank-case hose already because of the oily residue on the hose from the crank-case side.
We use 750 psi Russell hose. That will happen with the rubber hose only, which is another benefit of the braided upgrade.
What I guess I'm asking is that if you're not using crank-case hose designed for this application then will the oily residue sweat through the braided line also??? Ever since I replaced the fuel-line that came with the BT catch can with the crank-case hose my hose from the crank-case side doesn't sweat oil through it anymore. I like the steel-braided lines and might want to purchase the kit, but am curious as to the type of hose being used with the steel braiding. Has anyone who has steelbraided lines on their car already with the inner hose being anything but crank-case hose have any problems with oil sweating through the braids?
So Lisa, do we have other color options or is it just the silver lines with the red/blue or silver connectors? The silver and the red/blue was the setup i wanted anyways....but for other peeps maybe looking for something else?
Yeah thats another thing i was going to ask you lisa...the breather hose down to the intake...can i get that toooooooooo  haha
Lisa, do you have a blue clamp with no red on it? What kind of warranty comes with these. I've had ones in the past tarnish and peel.
To be perfectly honest, I just put this kit together today and haven't tested it long term. But, we've run these lines for catch can applications on other vehicles and haven't ever had any residue on the outside of the lines. I'm checking for black fittings right now. The lines are no problem. There are some all red and all blue clamps as well, but the size I need isn't in stock right now. More to follow on that. They make all blue but they aren't in stock right now. I'm checking to see how soon I can get those. I've been using these clamps for 2+ years on a very hot 850+ hp car with NO issues at all. I have at least 12 of these clamps in various places, from small lines like these to the radiator hose and the clamps look just like the day I put them on.
Nice you wouldn't believe how many PM's I get about my lines for my catch can. QUESTION can we measure out the length needed and have you guys cut them on a size/length needed basis as we all mount our catch can in different places-THANKS, for those who have not tried to cut the ss lines its a PITA so let them do it
