We finally installed the catch can on the SRT8U, and it looks great! It's the satin finish (which we polished with our Blingmaster polish) and a BMC Performance logo, thanks to Billet Tech. It installed in minutes and we'll see how much oil we catch! Here are some pics: If you don't have one on your HEMI, you should pick one up! We carry them, of course here. Lisa. P.S. We'll be replacing the black rubber hose with stainless braided.
NOOOOOOO of course you gotta go and do that AFTER i have mine! lol.... but if you have the hoses ill take those!
steve - go to summit racing and get some black braided line for your can..... kris - the can looks great!!!! now if dan could only find some time to finish my wheel spacers!!!! dahahahahahahaha
i did not think lisa and kris had the black braided lines????? i could be wrong....and if i am, then YES!!!! get it from BMC!!!! lol
There is a new bad ass nylon type braided hose out now in black. It looks bad ass!! And it has the same burst strength as steel braided. And 10x easier to work with.No more hack saw,cut off wheel etc, etc,.Ask her about the new all black fittings that are out now as well. Also very bad ass
What i think im gonna get is the silver braided lines with the red connectors along with.... http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/spe-7490.htm
Those sleeving kits are GREAT! I tried a couple versions/brands and that one is by far the best. You're going to love what I am putting together for the catch can kits!
Ok, I dont' know if I should go with Stevo's idea since it matches the color scheme I'm looking at or the black braided or nylon tape one as suggested by Chris and Scott....hmmm decisions..
go with mine....you wont have to "work with" anything because Lisa will be able to get them to size (correct me if im wrong Lisa...i saw your message this AM when i was still waking up hahahaha)...the other stuff is good cause you wont have to kill yourself cutting it down to size and such...but as this is already cut....no need to worry!
Ya, I like those ones except for the blue on them. That's ug. I'd probably paint them black, so I'm back to square one LOL..
i believe there are solid colored red or blue or other colors too...not just the red and blue...or was that just the sleeving?
