Soooooo this is inevitable when you put people who arent used to the power of a viper in a viper on a track....

im sure its not the first accident they have with them....nor will it be the last lol

We were doing the autocross when out of the corner of my eye i saw this green thing spinning...as i look up...i see the Viper slam the fence....i tried to get a pic of the damage but they blocked it REALLY good so nobody could see lol

A little rubbing compound and a claybar or two and she'll be good as new...

We had a couple of spin outs in Homestead, and that was after the extensive "DON'T HIT THE BARRIER" speach which was after the .."if there is a wreck, do not call 911, EMS is on scene already if there is an event," speach.

Glad the driver and Instructor were ok, my condolences to the Viper Nation.

Oh and word to the wise, at least with the Skip Barber guys, the less you drive like a dick, the more time you get in the Vipers. I got lots of extra laps along with being goaded to "drive faster!"

yeah we got an extended safety speech...."please note the concrete barriers over here, the large metal/concrete poles in the middle/fences...and please do not hit any of them in the viper"

i really felt bad for the rest of the guys in my group...especially NHdave who i was with all day...i got to ride in a viper last year on the hot laps and its so much fun!...so i was disappointed that i didn't get to do it but i felt worse for the other guys there

i only got 2 laps in the viper because the skies opened up with lightning and hail and they brought everyone back to the tent :cry2:

Hell I didn't even make it to drive the second Viper before we were shut down.

And to be fair, it was the ETown staff that shut us down and not the SRT folks. If they had their way I'm pretty sure we would have finished..

That was the reason the Viper was taken off the road course section..4 were totaled early into the TE schools..

Really? I was the only one that came close to spinning my Viper at Homestead, everyone else were "much better drivers."

We got plenty of runs that day too, I drove the Viper three times, twice in the convertible and once in the coupe and we had a Charger there too for people that couldn't drive stick (like me) lol

I got lucky at Road America too, I didn't get to spin the Viper that time, but going with Hammer for a hot lap was another story, he spun the damn thing!

PS. can't believe I missed Englishtown, I totally forgot about it, and I wasn't doing anything either to make me miss it.
