wow, i am surprised that the engine choices do not include something stroked. the rest of the car set up sounds like it is VERY much race only!!! lol
~3150lb car w/ 425HP = high 11's. Whoopty doo. So, what's the deal with the room for a solid rear axle? What axle does it come with? What's the rear suspension configuration? I think it's a cool idea and all, but for $30k you could buy/build a faster original Challenger.....Or anything else for that matter. They should have offered a 6.4 525HP motor or NOTHING!
^^^ X2 Although it sounds like there might be some useful LX racing parts coming off this project. Solid motor mounts HVAC block of plate Shorter belts or AC delete pulley. Solid drive-shaft (though it will be too short for LXs)
Says NHRA stock and super stock That means producition motors. Not 392's. They ususally only sell these kind of cars to established drag racers. Not for someone to drive on the street. I'm sure the 6.1's will be low 10's, high 9's eventually. The above memtioned 426 Cuda/Challenger's run 8's in Super Stock trim. Again, these are race cars, not street cars.
