Looking for suggesstions as to where should have the first 2009 M&G. This is where we will announce the 1st and 2nd place winners. Looking for serious suggesstions. a. Northeast is out of the question, too cold b. Other countries are out of the question as well c. Im thinking Texas might be the best location since it is in the middle of the state and we can get some decent weather there. Anyhow, lets see your suggesstions.
I would drive to texas. I think most people in CA would to. IF not why not infinion or sac. make it ez on me
I'm thinking San Diego as well. The odds are I'll have a PPP twin screw blower by then. Phoenix might be another option so you don't play the weather guessing game.
SRTConnection will be planning another Rumble in the Desert in January at SpeedWorld in Surprize, AZ.
You have no drag strips in San Diego. Your parking lot 1/8 would not be seasoned enough to hold traction for the heavy hitters that might attend. San Diego would be great for a M&G, but many will want to hit the 1/4 mile track. California sucks for tracks. Irwindale is only an 1/8, unless you could get a deal on Fontana, it sucks too. An after thought in the parking lot. Sacramento is to far for most. Texas might work. Speedworld is better than all the Cali tracks, except maybe Sacramento, which are about the same.
Did PPP mention fag...I mean drag racing anywhere? If so, then you are right. I personally think the Phoenix area would be better either way.
All you slow SD cars are afraid of drag racing as your cars are all slow. The last time I watched someone race around cones, it was my son Wes on his bigwheel. We have good weather in January.
I don't do cones Hal. Oh...and what you're telling me is that your son Wes has more talent "driving" than you do?!! LOL
You old people take everything out of text! I'll race anyone, but would like to do it on a normal 1/4 mile track. I have yet to go to Qualcomm.
At the Rumble Wes was running 13.7's with his Colbalt, with 1.0 reation times. LOL No, I don't play soccer either. I just know when someone is shitty at Drag Racing, the have to race the girly stuff. Have any of you EQ's ever had your car on a drag strip, or do you just streetrace each other and 4 cylinder non-SRT cars? LOL Hey we're getting off topic here as usual. SD is great for a M&G and or parking lot racing. Irwindale sucks, to busy, to short, Fontana sucks unless you can rent it with prep. Hey we're getting off topic here as usual. Now if PPP is making a national deal, Texas would be better. I know other than Cam most Cali's don't like driving very far.
We Have An Excellent Track Right Here In Florida , Bradenton Motorsports Park.........and It Will Be Kick-ass Weather............
