Bud vs. Momo (NA vs. Blower)

I just spoke with someone, and part of the misunderstanding is my layman's terminology with cars (my idea). Those who are as or nearly as dense as I understood my thread and its intention. Those with more knowledge really didn't. I am simply comparing layman's results from a freaking road test between two enthusiasts. That is it. There is no bashing of Vortech and never will be from me. I've championed their product since day one (I have more threads praising them than ANYONE in ANY forum) and will continue to do so. They've treated me and everyone I know with respect and courtesy and provided us with a great product. I don't put stickers on my ride, but am putting a Vortech one on under the hood. THAT is a first.

I understand that there are back channels to figure things out but that won't help the people who are buying the product today. I am simply informing the masses what to expect at this point and time. THAT IS IT. That is also not to say that this kit can't be an even meaner SOB with outside tuning... which some have said needs to be done anyway for max performance for any blower or power mod. So technically, there's no harm, it should be a given... but once again, us laymen didn't know that from the get-go/day one. Now, folks do. That is a good thing for everyone.

I'd recommend Vortech to anyone. Period. They did me right.

So, for those who are doubting, just don't read into it. I'm just being as honest as my car knowledge will allow.

 

Dave, bascially, someone has a stake in opinions re: Vortech. When they THOUGHT I was bashing Vortech, they went off the deep end on me, called me a name (Fucker) and used that blackmail tactic so that I'd 'shore-up' my posts. Sure, they apologized later, but that's some hurtful shit to say to someone. Then, I have people calling and wanting to talk to me?!?! Come on! I've got a baby son and wife at home I haven't spent time with because I've been kicking in doors and trying not to get hurt. I don't need this petty shit in my life right now.

I'm calm now, but I'm not dropping it. My intentions and/or integrity were called into question by a person(s) to remain anonymous and I won't have it. They accused me in private, and I'm keeping this confidential by not mentioning names, but if there's someone else involved, I'm letting them know by posting my displeasure for all to see.

I'm hoping this will all clear up and I can look this person in the face again... but I am indeed calling them and/or others to the table PUBLICY on this issue. And if this situation 'escalates', make no mistake I will identify them publicy, over and over again. I'll put it in my sig on every forum. I shit you not. I'm the idiot who'll cut off his nose to spite his face.

I don't know WHY Vortech called or what inspired them to call, but I think its obvious.

I'm a good man and my intentions should not automatically be construed as spiteful or harmful to anyone or any company. Hell, GSM stuck it to my best pal, and I kepy my mouth shut (long and more invovled story tp that).

The worst I've done to anyone on any forum is pull a prank (ie: Milan and KW's) and I don't deserve any shit.

 

BTW: I appreciate the PM's, but please don't bother. I want this laundered publicly so ANY misunderstanding is cleared up for ALL to see re: facts about our great Vortech systems and my intentions on posting results. That way if I don't explain something or someone misspeaks, we can all figure it out together, in the open.

To get back on track here is a question for you S/Ced guys in SD. I see a lot of you signed up as maybe's for tunes at the August 3rd M & G in Irvine from DynoSteve. Any of you guys actually going to be getting a tune and what are you looking to gain from it?

 

steve told sdcarguy that he would need more time to do a proper tune (about 4 hours per car) so i am having mine done on another date.

Yeah thats kind of the same boat I am in did he give you guys a date yet I am talking to him now about it and trying to get an idea.

 

jason - for what its worth, i very much understand the point of this thread and the original intentions you had for posting it. many points have been made and some very good dialoge has ensured. obvously everyone has their own feelings and/or adgendas, but for me, i appreciate your honesty about the product. it is OBVIOUS to me that you are not bashing anyone or anything......

Very true! He has had a rough week at work and outside work. Too bad all that was thrown at him couldn't be spread out over a few weeks. I think it would of been easier to handle for him. :kiss::huglove::flowers:
