Does anyone have any experience with the concentrates available out there? I'm not talking the WalMart Nos Octane Boosters as much as I am additives that have Xylene, MMT and the like in it. One that seems popular (after I did a Google search) is the Torco Mach 1 Concentrate that is not an octane boost, it is a race fuel concentrate that transforms a 93 octane super no-lead up to a 104 octane race fuel when proper mixing instructions are followed. Here's a link to the product:

Torco no longer exists in a trustworthy form.

That product is probably impossible to get, and I would no longer trust it.

Search for a similar product from Klotz. You'll be happy you did.

Thanks Matt. I caught your suggestion in the BMC thread a looked for it as well. Looks like it's around 85 bucks for 5 gallons. Klotz® HiTRATE® Racing Gasoline Concentrate is designed for use in all racing engine applications. Klotz® racing technology converts hi-test pump gasoline into High Octane Racing Gasoline. High octane racing gasoline allows the use of higher compression ratios and advanced timing, which builds more horsepower. Mix at a ratio of 9:1 with 93 Octane Pump Gasoline to make 103-105 High Octane Racing Gasoline (final octane rating will depend on the quality of your pump gas)

Not alcohol compatible. Just have to check if it contains lead otherwise I'm going to order some and try it out.

Weird, you can make a bunch of 103-105 octane with it...but it says its catalytic converter safe even though it converts pump gas to leaded race gas.

But is it O2 sensor safe? Lead will deteriorate sensor performance over time....Friend of mine put 110 leaded in his Vette and didnt get 5 miles before it quit and had to replace the sensors..

I don't know. But I'm sure a call would clear that question up.
