Ride...better than the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico (the stock tire on the SRT10 Rams)...smoother and no "hunting" the road when going thru ruts...quiet..

Handling....Feel great in the curves but really dont have a bench mark to compare with the Ps. Some other owners that do road race said they do not handle quite as well.

Tread...I liked the tread when I saw the un-mounted tires but after they were mounted they looked more like 4-wheel drive off road tires.

Rain...It has never rained in my garage so I dont know. Others only had positive comments about wet road handling.

Traction...with the Pirellis my best 60' at the drag strip was 1.9X....I took the truck to the track last week and never could get better than a 2.4.....but that could be caused by the difference in tuning. The 1.9s were done before I had the truck tuned...I gained about 100LBTQ after the tuning....I would just say that the Generals are probably not as good a track tire as the Pirellis..

Overall the Generals are a great street tire for a med-level modded truck that probably wont see a drag strip. They perform great on the street and I would recommend them for that kind of use. They cost around $70 less than the Pirellis (per tire).

I would like a wider tire....not interested in going to larger than 22" if that is what you mean...kinda thought about going to a 20"..

    Nice write-up Larry.

I switched to Yokohamo's on Maureen's truck. WOW, what a difference.

I would mimic your write-up. In the rain these are fantastic. The filter the water nicely and still give some traction.

Can't really give a price comparison because my buddy JD from A-J Tires (Vendor here) got me a SMOKIN deal.

Nope. I guess my plan is not an upsize, It is an up aspect ratio. I plan on using 305/45s next spring to get the front up a little. My rear is way up with 325/50s. I would like 315/45s but they are not made. Meanwhile, this winter I will use the spares from my two SRT10s up front. We need good tread around here in the winter and my stock tires are showing their age.
