Ever have gas guzzler guilt?

people that own a hybrid as their first choice are those that do not look at driving as enjoyable, but more of a necessity....... sad really......

 

i hear ya buddy...... just pointing out the fact that when making an intelligent decision/arguement in this topic, we must try and level the field as much as possible. is my srt going to suck more gas and make more pollutants when driven the same as a prius....hell yes....do i feel guilty.....HELL NO!!!! hahahahaha

 

My drag car gets .4 miles to the gallon (yes POINT FOUR) and that makes me laugh.

I burn 2.5 gallons for each 1/4 mile pass including warmup, burnout, coast to the end, 1/2 mile drive back to the pits. 1 total mile driven. 2.5 gallons burned.

And I couldn't enjoy it more!!!!

LMAO. People could argue that I'm burning alcohol, not fossil fuel.

But then I'd point out that pulling the 8,000 pound trailer/car combo to the track gets me 6.8 MPG.

So all you greenie tree huggers in your fancy-ass 15 mpg SRT's can bite me!!!!!
