Here is a twin turbo setup I found while "You Tubing". Pretty impressive numbers for 6.6 lbs of boost, 557 rwhp/542 torque. I've attached the link and a comment from FastLane about the initial development design. I wonder what something like this would cost, and how it would be for a road racing application?.

"that was early development. when the pictures and video were taken, the owner wanted to play around on the street so we put filters on the turbos. The final product has a single air filter/intake in the engine bay so water has no effect on the turbos unless they drive through 3 feet of it."

Heres a screen shot from the video.

I dunno, the graph, as brief as it is, doesn't seem to have a very aggressive pull to Max Power... Especially for a TT setup.

I wonder if that was recent with Direct Port Tuning with Diablo?

Wonder how the motor is holding up? Stock or Forged?

    Many unanswered questions here.

Is 6.6 lbs of boost unreasonable for a stock bottom end with a twin turbo setup? I emailed the company for chagrins. I doesn't look like it is possible to run a TT or roots blower on a stock bottom end...or at least that's what I'm assuming with the lack of response I get whenever I ask a vendor about it.

The graph is a screen shot from the video just showing the numbers. I'll print screen shot, put in powerpoint, crop, and resize just for you Ron. LOL

Probably blown up if the right person didn't tune it. Sounded wicked though!

6.6 isn't too bad on a stock block with proper tuning. However, ANY FI should have the bottom end built. Why spend all that money to run extreme low boost and a crappy conservative tune? lol

I need a more clear shot of that dyno. lol I am old and everything looks fuzzy to me.

But yea, uf the vendor is not responding to your questions, chances are something went wrong. Very wrong. But that is merely speculation.

STS (Squires Turbo System) seems like a real nice setup.
Doesn't some one have a 300C that is dual turboed by an STS System?

I haven't really heard too much about ANY of the turbo systems out there...other than what the vendors say about it. I know RDP has one as well.

Creative Induction Systems over at LX Forums uses an STS for their turbo install.

    STS site:
    http://www.ststurbo.com/

They are getting to release a 5.7L kit (little guy before the big guy....of course).
They are looking for cars to put kits in....http://www.ststurbo.com/wanted_cars

Hey Ron....errr...Maureen and also Larry...they make a system for the SRT10.

Yea I know, but I have my opinions about that. And it certainly is not good.

A few things...I believe that guy blew his car up I think I read that somewhere but I could be wrong, that Fastlane system was a one off system.
As far as CIS...they do not use the STS setup...while the setup is similar it is not from STS, they did copy the STS Turbo patented rear mount concept..I will leave it at that lol!
STS is currently developing a kit for release very soon..we have a thread going on here about the development of the kit with pics frpom during the testing and are currently taking pre-orders on the system.
For those interested in the STS Setup here is all the info...

Kris - I am interested in the setup but wouldn't take a serious look at buying until I saw some dyno graphs. Are there any out there yet? I like the setup because I want forced induction that will play nice while road racing and have a little fun while driving around town. I know I'd lose the Zoomers if I got this setup. How about the hi flow cats? Thanks! - Rick

The turbo's mount right in the rear, so all you would lose is your Zoomers tips. the turbos and new tips would replace that portion. The nice thing about a remote mount like STS is you don't need to replace your headers/cats etc you can keep everything as is. The only major exhaust change will be removing the resos and replacing w/ the tubos and new tips, and obviously running the new piping back to the front of the car etc. I will see if Lisa has gotten any updates/dyno's for the 6.1 yet. I know they worked on the 5.7 first and had several cars running w/ the kits, including the one in the video we have in the thread I posted.

CIS has nothing to do with STS and as far as copying STS, you cant patent a location. If CIS put the turbo in the front, would they be copying Greddy? If it was in the middle, would they be copying Hennessey? I guess the only place for CIS to put the turbo is on the roof of the car, otherwise i guess they are copying someone. How about those vortech guys, they sure did copy GSM didnt they and I guess Pro-Charger is copying them also. Too bad GSM didnt patent the location of the supercharger..........

I don't want to speak for STS...but...they do infact own many patents on their Turbo systems including the patent for remotely mounthing them.
    Here is a little info
    http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/7134282/fulltext.html
So you can indeed patent a location, at least the US Patent office seems to think so.

BTW GSM used a Paxton blower which is tecnically a Vortech since they are the same company..so I doubt anyone would be concerned about copying anyone else.

STS was just smart and patented their techonology early on.
