FINALLY pics of my ride with the TEIN'S, that Adam doesn't like!

Cam is the one who isn't happy with his suspension.

Honestly, I'm glad you like them. That's what really matters.

Ryan, it looks good buddy....how's the ride and have you used the EDFC yet?

Does anyone know if Cam had the EDFC with his Tein's?

 

trust me tein knew cam was unhappy with his, he tells it like it is and does not blown any smoke.

Cam's the ONLY guy I know that tells it like it is over at LX, and is a blatant dick about it. Oh sure, he'll throw a smiley in there...but, he doesn't pull any punches!! LOL :kiss:

Cam does have the EDFC system on his car, the only thing that Cam doesn't like about the Tein set up is that the spring rate on the rear is to soft for him and the way he drives his car. Now I say this because that is what he told me. He is also talking to Tein about getting stiffer springs for the rear. I don't know if they have them or going to get them for him.

Everyone else that I have talked to about Tein... loves them... I know about 10 others with LX's and Cam in the only one that is disappointed with it but mind you it is just with the rear. Plus he loves everything STIFF... car wise and personal wise... LOL

They do look too low. Didn't even think Teins would go that low.
Once you pile in the family..... have a nice scrubbing/rubbing ride to Disneyland.
I would have done some test driving before I went on a trip.

One nice thing...your backup sensors will pick up parking stops.

 

I didn't realize the Tein's are pseudo bagged coilovers. I'm probably to blame for telling Ryan "slam the rear end and adjust the fronts for full steering". LOL

 

I seem to remember they'll go a full inch or more lower than the KWs? Seeing as I was only looking at max height at the time I didn't pay all that much attention...

 

Ryan, I'd get the rear end upped about 1/2 inch or so... but like I said before, it is niiice!

 

Not a single problem on the trip to and from D-land. All went well. I did change the settings and liked the way the car rode, but still have a ton to mess with. :grin:
