I went down to the body shop and heard my car before I saw it...lol. Here are a couple of pics of the car during repair from my deer encounter along with a little of what it'll look like when it's done.

This is the deer I hit on the way back from PPP...7 weeks ago. I had been waiting for the Grip kit.

Ya, those are Weldcraft widened and Permastar black-chromed. There is a guy in CA that has exchange packages ready on the wheels...I stumbled across him while talking with Permastar. He has return shipping labels in the boxes and everything ready to go. It saved me shipping my wheels all over the U.S.

I have like NO miles that aren't Interstate cruising. My wife actually took a driving complaint (she is a LE dispatcher) on me while driving from my house to the body shop...LOL (well, I thought LOL anyway:))

I pulled in to home from my 1500 mile trip from PPP and there it sat parked. FINALLY getting it done.

    (ya, black chrome)

2" lower! Holy crap! That's going to give you about 3" clearance. I wonder if NASCAR has them that low.

Jon...it's good to see that your gettin' your ride finally fixed. I haven't seen the Grip bumper on a car so I can't wait to see pictures when its done. The black chrome is a nice touch also. Since you got the wider wheels I'm going to assume your going with a 295 or 315 tire on the rear?

see this thread on tire sizes........

btw, i mistyped when i said 3mm spacers...... i run a 6mm (1/4") spacer with my 285/40's. i could run a 295 without issue. 305 or 315 will require the mods that magfx made to his maggie (see the very end of the thread)

I will have to wait the looooooong time until my brand new 275's currently on the rear are done ;) Yup, 295's I think...no modifications necessary. I just have to find a combo where the fronts and rears are the same overall diameter...I think Legmakers are.

Oh, it's coming...it's coming :) The 426 has incredible torque and with a real torque converter now it takes nothing to waste my tires through second gear...torque management has nothing to say about it (as long as I stay straight!)
