I recently received an email tune from Dave Kasper at B&G. I originally purchased a B&G Stage II Flash back in October 2006 and loved it. I made the huge mistake of getting the Chrysler TCM TSB which neutered some of the characteristics I liked about the flash. I sent Dave a list of my mods, and a couple live data logs I did with my Predator. Dave sent me a tune back in that I loaded on my Predator which was pretty close to dead on. I did a couple more data logs and sent them to Dave and he dialed it in perfect. Total KR never exceeds 0.5 and Spark Advance in Cylinder One is between 19.5 and 21.0. I have my 6450 rpm shift points back. For the first time on roads I drive ALL the time, I consistently chirp the tires between 2nd and 3rd gear. The throttle response is more predictable/smoother. And, the overall driveability IMO, "feels" better than ever! Thanks Dave for the great tune and teaching me a thing or two during our phone call!

One thing I didn't mention that is worth noting is the shifts seem MUCH "snappier" (placebo?) than with the just the Predator canned tunes. Could this be a result of the 6450 rpm shifts? What's the Predators raised shift points....6400?
People still running these things? I guess 8-tracks have a certain following too I tried to sell mine for $150 on several forums but no takers ... interesting
Bud I totally agree with you I got the latest and greatest from him a week ago and its night and day compared to his stuff from several months back
Gentelmen, we are always refining our tunes based on engine dyno time and or customer input,, Like our Web site states under the handheld section is we always offer updates to our customers with prevoius B&G CMR tunes.. So if you have an old tune you should call to see if there has been any updates or refinments above your current tune revison level.. Dave
Dave is awesome! i just wish he would come out with something for the CSRT4 already! Congrats on the great tune and getting your driveability back!
GooberMT, We are finishing up the revisions to the Caliber SRT4 tunes,, There have been alot of request for a ton of changes to that calibration to address the amount of boost that people want to run.. And the OBDII section has to be completly reworked so check engine lights will not be a issue..Dave
I've let my new tune set in for a few days now and the thing is only getting better. The feeling I had when I first installed the "91 octane CAI" tune by Diablo back when it first came out is the same feeling I have now with the B&G Email tune. Dave's tune is so consistent and predictable. I almost always used to drive in autostick because I didn't like the unpredictability of the Predators canned tunes while in drive. The B&G tune in drive holds gears longer and it is real "timely" on the downshifts. If you previously owned a B&G Stage II flash and now own a Predator, PM Dave and get a free update via the Predator from him. If you just own the Predator and want an ass kicking tune give Dave a call. I'm loving this more and more everyday!
I had Dave's tune in my former SRT8....loved it....that was back before tuners and such...but Dave's tunes worked well....:thumb2:
