Thanks for the compliment, Chris. BTW: Here's a bit of friendly law enforcement advice: don't leave your keys in your car... even if its in your garage. LMAO! However, I'd like to affirm/suggest a few things, although Steveo looks like he's on the ball... Milan, true. If a crime (in this case, possibly fraud) is involved in the shipment of materials and/or communications via the US Postal Service, there are Federal statutes that apply. Mind you that the Fed may not take a few hundred dollar crime that seriously... but it is an avenue to explore. Markus: correct-o-mundo. Although, if Ryan gets on this thread, he'll give ya the low down on something he once experienced in a similar vein. Basically, from what his CC told him, its a 6-8 week process, and I don't know if there are any guarantees. Also check with Tbyrne's local better business bureau and the county registrar for business licenses, etc (some websites will also do this)... this should give you additional contact info. for the owner. Best of luck on this.
1) This is true...but thats where doing what i do comes in handy...and also knowing local feds in their area doesn't hurt either lol 2) Hopefully amex is pretty good with it and this will be the end of it 3) that was my next step in the process before going to meet with the NYSP Investigator so i got some good info for my buddy who i have worked with before Yeah so, if he didnt just drop off the face of the earth...i might have just put it past me for not being worth the trouble... but yeah this guy just needs a lesson on how things work in life... and For the record...been there done that with a similar situation...the guy didnt like that in the middle of his family eating dinner i showed up at his house with 4 state police officers to have a talk... It was for a little more money that time...but dont put it past me to do that again if it comes to it... I am so pissed off right now you dont even know.... but thank you momo for the well wishs lol
Stevo's on the warpath. :argue: He said something last night about his cousins Vinnie, Paulie, and Frankie having to go knock on people's doors and whatnot. :aggressive:
Tell us about your previous experience and what happened. Curious. lol. Dude, I got a taste of what you're feeling today when I thought someone was jacking me of 700 from Ebay or Paypal or whatever. Stressed me the f*** out to think I had been had. :mad2: If the leo can't help, give your cous Matt Serra a call and go layeth the smackdown haha
UPDATE: Stevo is getting his money back :woot:...I love American Express I have had 3 people arrested...one person fired...and my job is to basically yell at people all day... yeah i'd say thats a good guess... we rock... Well...i dont really feel like typing the whole thing out but the summary is... The mustang went out for paint, the guys shop "moved", he neglected to tell me that, I didnt know where my car was, I showed up at his house with the state police during his dinner...I got my car back... I have no problem handing people their ass when they have it coming...
HAHA. Good news! I'm glad to see that American Express is stepping up and hope they lay the financial hit on him for running away with your money. Watch the items arrive tomorrow! :bang::thumb2::whistle:

It looks like TByrne has resurfaced! http://www.srt8oc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236 WTF??? Doesn't he owe people/suppliers money??
I am too.Funny that was a 2 year old thread.I wonder who the MOD is over there.OH Wait.. Ummm Ron oh Ron
Suppliers I don't know about but I don't know of any people he owes money to. I seem to remember a few people were mad because they had ordered something and they weren't going to get it but their CC hadn't been charged either. Was there more?
They charged my CC without sending me a damn thing.... that was a nice week long fiasco lol so if it happened to me...im sure it happened to someone else... plus we only know about people on the forums...god knows what has gone on outside the forum world
This thread was started way back when, but Tom seems to be visiting the OC, probably from his 'new' business in England lol..just a guess though haha.
if he does in fact owe people money...he better stay in his hiding place cause they are gonna go after him like a mo fo lol if i didnt get my money back i'd be one of them
