My vote is for "Bud". If he was a PhD he'd know how to fix the thing he's driving and how it works. I was going to ask that question anyway. Weren't there any technical courses included with the driving courses? What is our military thinking? I mean they're training him for situations where the convoy (and accompanying mechanics) has been blown up and he's supposed to transport the important personel out of there. Is the assumption that backup is always going to be just around the block? What if you have to take off across hostile countryside? "Ummm, good news sir is that we drove our way out of the ambush. Bad news is that something broke on the car and I have no clue what so we're going to be dead shortly anyway". I mean they teach you how to maintain and fix your gun right? What's up with that? Maybe because Rick's such an excellent driver you could award him a Bachelor's degree. "Bud BS".

haha Bud BS. I likey. As for the repair comments, Dave, they have Mechanics for break downs. You have to radio in for the maintenance team for situations like that. Which is WHY the military is so highly trained in Weapons and Hand to Hand combat.
