DUHAHAHAHAHA!..............:welcome: Sorry brother, ya know I luv ya man. But I just don't want anyone thinking a major project comes cheap on these rides. Some guys have the ability to do the work themselves and save a ton of bucks. But when you have to pay your way through.............man it gets fucking expensive. :crying:
Luckily, I have some REALLY cool and capable friends here in San Diego that will possible help me out for a good price! Six months to see what happens....Lord knows things can change!
didnt rick already drive ryans? I mean hell if he wants he can drive the better looking silver one...he just has to wait a week
OK, I'll give that to you... but you don't have a fully custom front emblem like the one I just ordered! Woot!
oh so you mean the custom srt8 logos on my fenders that are the only ones in the nation dont count? Oh you want to buy stuff that others already have instead of being different You should know better bro haha.
I got dibs the guy in the link below blows his motor within a month of getting his car back (assuming it's left at 11 lbs of boost). The numbers are 637rwhp and around 700rwtq on all stock internals with RDP Blower! Is this safe??? http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=120142 "Just because it is a stock motor doesn't mean it will blow up. It has a lot to do with the tuning. Like I said it is de-tuned. I will hopefully be the first charger to run 10's on my street tires. I will post more info when i get it. The shop doing all the work will also be posting pic and dyno sheets with the numbers." Any comments on his above comments?
Yeah he didnt like my comments on that thread at all. But if you read all the posts most say the same thing without saying it...I just said it out loud If a stock block 6.1 with 10-12psi is cranking out that kinda power its a timebomb for sure. Then again Jmatts held 275 shot how long
rick dont let some guy who doesnt know a damn thing make you take a huge risk like this. when i see someone say its "safe" because its de-tuned i laugh my ass off. there is nothing safe about running the wrong tune for your mods. doesnt matter if its pushing the motor or not. this guy has obviously got some bucks, dont let his stupid decisions put yourself in a bind....there is an old saying, "dont gamble unless you have money to lose".
"Just because it is a stock motor doesn't mean it will blow up. It has a lot to do with the tuning. Like I said it is de-tuned. I will hopefully be the first charger to run 10's on my street tires." There is just soo much wrong with that. Basically what he's saying is that he's going to generate a whole lot of extra power without putting a whole lot of extra load on everything...:magic: (unless he's not telling about the rocket assist on the rear bumper).
Dave, why don't you go over there and straighten this misguided soul out?!?! Save his engine Dave! Save his engine!
I hope he can run it safely for a while..and at least have 'some' fun with it lol...but with that much power...can't see it happening.
yeah dave, go break his balls with a ton of very technical data points and then comeback with one of your classic, dry humored quips...... hahahahahaha actually, i would be shocked if this motor holds together under any kind of abuse at these reported boost levels. he might keep things in one piece if he drives miss daisy everywhere, but if drives half as nutty as the rest of the people on this forum, that motor may have a very short life expectancy.
