i think we all need to stick together to get the best deal obviously. does anyone know how much shipping is? do these include the toner rings? should we wait for the level 2 shafts... couldn't see what would make them any different than what we are getting with these.
You HAVE to use your rings from the stock shafts. People have tried to manufacture them but something about the magnetic quality and the signal it sends to the PCM/TCM upon rotations makes it difficult to do. I would assume the Level 2 shafts are to include the tone rings if they can figure it out. I would also suspect that they would be more money.
This is the lowest possible price we can offer. I spoke with DSS yesterday to see what we could work out to give you guys the lowest price and the $1799 is the best I can do. Unlike other places, we find the lowest price we can offer and stick to it. I don't believe in making over $200 dollars on an item like this, then lowering the price when the competition comes out with a better price. After credit card fees and expenses, we're making about $12 per kit on this group buy. I'm just trying to help you guys as much as possible since I know this is a weak area of the car and an expensive upgrade. Shipping will depend on your location, but our store will calculate the rate based on your zip code and I've set it up to undercharge you on the shipping by 30% to try and help there as well. THose damn GTO members tipped them off I bet!! i asked them the difference between the level 2 and level 5's. the level 2's are not as strong.. my bad. maybe they followed me?
