Alright, Maddy just went for her last eye appointment for a year. Her eyes check out fine, so no more trips to San Francisco for her for a while. :dance4:

Yeah, we're well past the "honeymoon" phase of parenthood and deep into a "what the hell were we thinking?" phase... :cry:

Baby girl is super-bitchy when she's hungry and she's super-hungry between 3 and 7 am every morning. :baby::chair:

According to my mom, I'm paying for my upbringing, since I was colicky 24-7 the first six months and loud like Maddy. I'm amazed Mom didn't drown me in the tub! :blink:

Oh and having seen Marc's baby pictures now, I can say with assurance that Maddy looks more like me than him. Just not sure if that's a good thing. :doh:

 

hahahaha...isnt that how it works though?...you were payment for moms childhood and so on and so fourth...

it could be worse...my brother couldnt sleep without one of my parents in the room till he was 9...and OH YEAH...thats cause thats when i was born and they stuck me in there hahahaha

 

Well, Mom said when my colick cleared up, I was very independent and wouldn't tolerate being snuggled or cuddled much. My brother on the other hand was a relatively easy infant but a very hands-on toddler. He'd climb out of the crib and sleep on the floor by Mom's side of the bed. She'd put him back and just as she got to sleep, he'd re-appear.

 

hahaha...i think i was pretty easy...the only thing i did was we had this like car seat thing for inside i guess you could call it...

but what i'd do is rock it over....and crawl like a turtle around the house hahahahaha :sly:

LOL...........I am getting pay backs at the age of 7. Mine was a very easy baby slept good at night for me and was very happy pretty much all the time. Even as a toddler she was easy. But man pay backs are a bitch............

 

Well, apparently after the first six months, I was an easy kid. My brother was the mirror opposite. If he and his wife ever have kids, I just feel sorry for her, cause he's gotta a lot of upbringing to payback!

 

Yep, she takes after me! :happy:

Ok, Maddy is now getting mobile. She woke me up twice last night by nudging me. This is after carefully positioning her between me and Marc when we went to bed, a good foot of space on either side of her. So today I figured I'd try documenting it. She's very sneaky. :happy:

 

uh oh Tam...shes starting to move around...before you know it...your gonna be chasing her down as shes running all over the house! hahaha
