Hey guys hope you can help out.

I need to find the best performing suspension for my 300C SRT8 (sedan).

I am after the performance side of things rather than looks (best of both would be great though). I know about KW's and Tein, however, how do they perform and is there anything else out there better.

I want not only better handling out of the suspension, but also to help with hooking up the rear end as well. The car is being set up for 1/4 racing (not circuit racing).

I have also been enquiring into the Pedders complete bushes and rubbers kit which can be sourced locally but I feel the Pedders shocks and springs may not be up to the job (this is open to discussion though).

I currently have lowered King springs with the OEM SRT8 shocks (self leveling in the rear).

    Thanks all.

Yes, JMatt's AFCO suspension is very efficient when adjusting and can be geared towards quarter mile racing, daily driving, long trips and even road racing. It is near the top of my to-do list.

Of course I'm biased, but you really need to understand how the AFCO's even came to market:

I was frustrated with the stock suspension last summer when I started laying down TONS of power at the track and couldn't control it (630 ft lbs of torque at the rear wheels).

Because there wasn't any real performance suspension for us, I went to AFCO Racing and asked them if they'd make me some coilovers.

Go to a dragstrip during a professional event and look at the suspensions on everything from dragsters to altereds to 180 mph door slammers. You're going to see AFCO shocks on almost all of them.

I figured if it was good enough for those guys, that's what I wanted on our cars.

So AFCO took the exact same shock they put on all of those racecars, valved them for our cars, and engineered mounting solutions to make them fit.

    Tada!!!!!!

"REAL" racing suspension of the highest possible quality made specifically for the LX platform.

This is no holds barred suspension. Who else actually sells spring rubbers (like you here them using during NASCAR races) so you can quickly and easily add 10% to your spring rate for adjustment purposes?

Who else offers springs in a dozen different rates, just for the back alone?

How do you want them to ride? You tell me. We can do that.

Well I gues the answer is unanimous....JMatts setup is the way to go.

JMatt if its ok I will be in touch soon. I have a few questions regarding spring rates etc.

Thanks again everyone. Your help has been appreciated and I cannot wait to get these on mine. :)

Thanks heaps guys. I did not think this would be an easy find.

Racetech look to be the way to go and I also feel that the Pedders bushes and rubber kit throughout the car will also be of benefit.

Thanks again all - greatly appreciated. Will be ordering this week.

Thanks mate. Yes everyone has said these are the way to go. Note one other brand got a mention so yes I am very excited about these.

As per Matts advise I ended up going the complete kit suited for full drag setup (includies 200lbs springs FR & 300lbs springs RR) as well as a second set of springs for the road (300lbs FR & 500lbs RR). Spring rubbers and adjusting tool coming with it as well.

Man I want my car back on the road more than ever now....LOL

By the way stop making Steve feel so welcome over there, he doesn't want to come back LOL. He keeps telling me what a great bunch of people he has met over there and how welcome he has been made to feel.

    Awesome stuff!
