You bastards. I took the ram head off my trunk lid and am taking the "charger" part off to put 6.1 Hemi there. Will still look clean and not srt'd to death.
momo - looks good. i am more for the full naked look myself, but with you, some coverage is best.....buwahahahahahaha
Yeah, you know at the bottom left of the trunklid, it says Charger...well Charger has to go. In it's place, I am putting 6.1 Hemi. To the far right, SRT8. On the sides, I have the SRT8 emblems...
MoMo and Drew are both dorks... you guys should have went with this badge!!! http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5861
I kinda figure that with approx. 600 ponies dancin' around my engine bay like a herd of crazed lunatics, and my hiflows and zoomers... my tailpipes should be talking pretty loud! I guess you have no taste too... Whoever is doing that is a loser! LMAO! Anyway, there's obviously 2 camps on this. My train of thought is that those badges, placed where I want to place them, pay homage to yester-year and will reflect heritage and pride in Mopar and muscle cars in general... muscle cars were, are and should be anything but subdued and soft-spoken... not flashy with too much 'bling', but brash and rather "in-your-face" in performance and attitude! They're supposed to be kind of rebellious and cocky... yet, with style and class. These were made for the new Chally... so Dodge might have been thinking the same. We'll see how it goes. I think with the HEMI fender badge removed, this 'mod' won't look like clutter... keeping it clean, while adding a bit of nostalgia... I personally don't see the difference between doing this and putting SRT8 badges on the fenders in place of the HEMI ones... neither came from the factory that way... and both are OEM equipment for SRT8's... its not like this emblem is something flashy or over the top. Now, to find a "SUPERCHARGED" emblem that's about 12" long... LMAO!!! EDIT (after sleep): Not bashing our 5.7 brothers, but, it's always 'bothered' me that there has never been a emblematic distinction between the 6.1 and 5.7 HEMI badges... back in the day, HEMI meant THE big boy (aka: elephant engine), there was only one. People often ask: "Which HEMI do you have?" and that is IF they know there are 2 HEMI's... I know its nit-picky, but none of us paid another $10,000 to be confused with at least 75 less HP.
