I just got these ordered: http://www.moparsupercenter.com/challenger-6-1l-hemi-hood-emblem68029274aa.html I plan on doing this with them and see how it looks (scroll down a bit): http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76498&page=4 From the pics I've seen, it should look great... but "in person" may be a different story. I plan on removing the fender emblems.
That will look good Jason...when you pull the "HEMI" emblems off the fenders replace them with the "SRT8" trunk emblem...
Larry, my man... I thought about that too. BUT... I'm of the initial opinon that the side of the car will look cluttered with more than one emblem... but, who knows... it could look good. When I saw that linked thread, all I could think of was "Old School" Mopar Muscle... that emblem will indeed make folks who see it harken back to the 60's and 70's... as that's where many 1st generation muscle cars advertised their engine's level of insanity... "HEMI", 440 6BBL, 383... etc. I think I started a thread on this awhile back... but I never followed through with it... someone MAY have even called this "The Momo Mod"... but alas, my fame rests with my recent spell of EXCELLENT Mod Luck, and more likely, my stuidity and off-topic posts... I guess it's just not to be...
I thought about that too... but no one makes such a thing... plus, that may 'show my hand' a bit too much. What's your opinion? And where could I get such an emblem (6.1 HEMI SC) or something like it?
Mains, considering the following, the title of this thread will make sense: Last 4 weeks: Vortech Blower Chrome OEM Wheels Vredestein Tires KW Variant 1 Coilovers... See where I'm going with this?!?!
I am still failing to find a problem... Momo before there was you the king of the unmod there was Mains "I swear I will keep it stock forever!"
You fag... I ordered mine a few days ago and it was going be be a supprise... way to go dork boy... just take the wind out of my sail!
Yep. I promised the wife when I got the car... that was almost 2 years ago... Wow, you do have SOME taste... who'da thunk?!?!
I want to know how you're going to get them mounted in exactly the same spot on both sides (symetric)? Did you order a couple of spares for retrys?
No... I've got a measuring tool that's spot-on... it'll also help me tint my tail lamps so I don't screw it all up... the tool is called Drew.
We'll make a day of it, some cold Mt. Dews, modding the rides... then we'll go lather up Ryan and have our way with him... again.
1. Answer your phone. 2. Tough shit! I'm doin' it anyway... especially because you don't like it! LMAO!
