That is completly true. I am not trying to blame him I am just saying my timing was set at 32. Show me an other tuner that will set timing there. I know I dont knwo ass much as scott I am not trying to say I am an exspert but 32 seems very high. The car was running fine till I got home and then it felt like crap.
I am trying to keep this clean if I am offending any one please tell me. It is not my intentions to start a fight here

200$ to add 1% of fuel seems a bit high but maybe I am wrong.

John GSM had the quickest and fastest at El Toro. We where running a 150 shot on my car and dyno'd 596/629 a couple of days before with only 21 degrees pulling 2 to 19. Steve's GC was the quickest there. My car was the fastest. The only one to trap 120. My car also had no traction, blew the tires off in 1st and 2nd. It was also the best DA my car has ever seen and I'm sure it had a mid to low 11 in it if we could have hooked. Oh well, that setup is long gone.

No. You do think that. That's fine. Just stick to your experience please.
Ok, I'll tell you. You stated your experience at the beginning. Then you went on with all the stuff about how Scott runs his business which has nothing to do with your tune. Then the "Ok GS guys beat me up" (as part of your "last post"). Then the freedom of speach crap. Then the I know Ron's not going to like what I'm posting. Little bit of baiting there? What were you implying? Wasn't getting the reaction you were hoping for?

I think you should stick to your own experience and let others decide how they feel about their's? Or do you have the details on his too?

Sorry your experience was a bad one. We all know that now. I'm glad you're done, because you ARE done on this thread.

[edit] Let me clarify a bit. If you wanted to relay your experience to others you should have stuck with "This is what I got and this is what I didn't like about it".

None. Outside of bling, electrical parts and an assortment of doohickeys, everything's in my sig and from a couple of other vendors.

I say let the proof speak for itself, let the past just stay where it is and lets move forward. Dan thanks for the heads up on what is a great deal for people to get in on and I'm sure if your local to GSM it's better to go in and get Dyno CMR tuned to dial it in properly.

Your so rite Wade as im sure DYNO STEVE knows his stuff and is everything the gang says he is. He is the # 1 kid on the block rite now and in time there will be a some1 new that comes along to be # 1. Every1 has to remember were all guinipigs for the tuners to learn on thats how things get improved. Im not 1 to send off for a E - mail tune as all cars are different. As far as that goes get a preditor and tune it your self my adding or taking fuel n timing during test runs and go from there. But all in all a cmr tune is best way to go and in CA theres not many tuners that no the new mopars. Theres only a few 4 wheel dynos in CA and most of them dont no mopars like Scott and DYNO STEVE.

3 partners, a few repeat posters and a couple of drive by opinions. Considering the raw topic of the post is a hi-po tune for a good price, I think it speaks volumes of what people think of GSM. Usually, this product offer would have the posters lined up deep and wide.

Wouldn't this post be better suited under the GSM section? Putting it in this forum opens it up to comment and possible contrary opinions...as has been witnessed.

I think the consumer has a right to all points of view. I had been given advice before going down there to get the tune but did it anyways. I should have listened and saved myself money (tune plus rental car) and time (away from my family's trip to Disneyland). The folks at GSM were nice but it was a complete waste for me.

Obviously other customers have been satisfied. Several customers from Northern California haven't so I'd recommend to any NorCal folks either going to Dito's in San Francisco (or Daly City I forget which) or SVS in Sacramento. I've seen those tunes run really well at Infineon Raceway so I can vouch for their work. Plus they are full CMR tunes not just hand-held tweaks.

I personally have nothing against scott or his people...hell i dont really know them. I do know that I wont go back there for the headaches Ive had with them. I bought my exhaust and cats from them. Drove up there and had them install. The mufflers were welded incorrectly from Magnaflow and scott said he would call them and see if he could do something bout it...nothing...I bought phenolic spacers from him and they put them in with 1 gasket and 1 side siliconed. Needless to say I had to have them removed and reinstalled do to a missfire because it had sucked in the silicone. It took Jay 1 year almost to the day to get me gaskets. By a year I mean almost 365 days for 15 bucks in parts...i bought them at the spring fling 2006 and got the gaskets hand delivered by Jay spring fling 07...

Other then that I have seen how they have treated people I know. Even if they had given me the best customer service ever they way they have handled my friends would cause me never to go there again. I have also seen first hand logs of a customers "CMR" tune from them. We ran our cars and he put back in the stock tune and the difference was noticeable...I didnt pull as hard from him with the stock tune...

Wow, Tough crowd. The whole reason for starting this thread was to let the masses know that they do have a cost efficient option when it comes to getting a full CMR tune, on a dyno, by a very experienced tuner, who has been tuning these cars and specializes in SRT-8s and 5.7's. Scott has tuned literally hundreds of LX's and Jeeps. If a couple of people feel that the tune they got was subpar, then they really should contact me directly. I'd be more than happy to take a look at the tune (in person or via email) for free, to see if there is anything that needs to be adjusted. The overwhelming majority of people who have had tunes by Scott worldwide, myself included, are way more than 100% satisfied with the tune, and the cost.

Sure there are other good tuners out there. And I'm sure there are some who need a lot more practice, training, experience. I don't have anything negative to say about any other tuners or vendors, not my style.

    The facts still remain:
Scott tuned the fastest cars & Jeeps at the last 2 years LX Spring Festival Track Days. Scott tuned the Mopar Drift Team's Drift Vipers.
Scott tuned cars running ASM kits and transformed them into the beasts the owners had hoped for.
Scott is willing to do full CMR tunes on the dyno for LX's & Jeeps, for a limited time, at a really low price ($150). After that the price will go back up to a more realistic price.

For those who want a killer tune at a really low price, now's your chance. If you'd rather pay more and/or wait, that's your prerogative.

You are absolutely correct. And it CAN be done in a NON Bashing manner. This is why we, SRTConnection, have strict policies on bashing of any kind towards any person or business.

And the thread should NOT go off topic. lol Like the majority of our threads seems to do. However, we, SRTConnection Staffers, will be cracking down on the off topic posts. There are Off Topic sections that are geared just for that. ;)
