Boy did I learn alot this weekend.I learned that even with a boost a pump I am on the ragged edge of the fuel system.So I am going to be running some -8an line front to rear and a new pump and getting some serious fuel up front.I also saw ridiculous ACT temps in the 200* range which would not allow any real timing to be run........all we could get was 13* after all the KR.So today I ordered a 1200cfm Air to Air intercooler........I also learned just how much the Meth keeps KR at bay since I had no controller and couldn't use it.....of course the replacement meth controller showed up today.So we figure there is quite a bit being left on the table. The good news is my tune is unfuckingbelievable on the street.Perfect road manners.Car starts and idles like stock at 725 Rpm......runs down the highway at 175* with no surging at all.the boost comes on smooth......no boost spikes at all.My car is the guinea pig for my tuner and he is taking baby steps to make sure every table is correct and that he is not missing anything......once this is done I will announce who it is and I think alot of you will be surprised. He started this project out with a N/A tune on a 2 bar Map and had me driving around like that till the map was scaled 100% correct.The N/A on 2 bar and 65lb injectors........the fact that the car idled like stock with those monster injectors was very impressive..........then we bolted on the blower and it was like it had been on the car forever........fired right off,added fuel on boost,everything a blower car should do........3 tweaks and I was on the race track.The race track showed me the things I needed to correct(fuel sytem and ACT).........I know most of you guys are running full kits but I hope it helps some of the guys that are piecing a setup together like me.
I'm glad to hear that your project is going so well. Too bad about the meth kit, I'm sure it would have helped your timing problem. I'm REALLY happy to hear that you tuner is doing such a great job. There aren't too many "go to" guys for forced induction tuning.
Great feedback Erik! Glad you have it running smooth. You will love the water meth w/ the controller. What are you using to tune...Diablo CMR or SCT?
Oh and speaking of S/C...anyone have any idea whose 4 cars blew up in the last week do to Superchargers...did I miss something lol! I think Erik knows the thread on LX I speak of lol!

I like how he's ignored my point about how supercharger companies sell their kits with Diablo tunes twice in the same thread now. But why should he bother with evidence when he already knows everything.
