Just curious...and I can't really find it anywhere but can speak for a few to say, "Thanks for the awesome pics" but, where is the meat & potatoes of the event?? THis is the desert....

What kinds of times were you seeing? What did Jeremy from PPP run? What did some of the other big guys run?

Lastly, were there ALOT of people?? In the pictures I've seen, it looked kind of dead there.

Just a guess, maybe 120 cars on Saturday. Since there was no car show on Sunday, probably 60 cars that day.

DA was around +2500 so as you can imagine, not too many stellar times. My best ET of the weekend was 11.45 @ 120 mph. The track was a little slick, Chad/SRT Hardware wasnt able to get off the line hard like he normally can. I only had one or two good hard launches.

I think Jeremy was running 11.8's but not sure.

Yeah, it was at least .3 and 3 mph slower than optimal conditions here in Ohio. That, and traction was really bad Saturday after the rain. For reference, I was usually 13.0@108, I did eek out a 12.9 on both days though. The only car I was slower than that did not have heads/cam/nitrous was Sam's. Great running car you have there Sam - great to meet you too!

Thanks Eric. It was great meeting you. You have a great family. If my wife and I end up in Cincinnati sometime this summer, I will give you a call. For sure we have to hook up to do some racing this fall in your area.

We will have to wait to see who is going to post up their times. I thought that I would see some lower ETs from the cars that were there than I did. That track is not known for running personal bests or great traction.

My best run of the weekend was 12.721 @ 110.00 I was happy with that. I was out reaction-timed in the second round of the 6.1 bracket racing and lost to the eventual winner of the class. I had a decent run (12.9) close to my 12.8 dial in but was not as good at the line as the champ.

what did the Precision Motorsports car run? I've got to go for a ride in that car and man do Pedders rule! That R/T charger is also pushing 400hp at the wheels, all motor!
