No problem! Now if only I knew of a place to put inserts in my viper seats around here so I can get one of these.

Probably not hahaha. From what I heard I heard... its pretty uncomfortable if someone were to try to sit anywhere on the back seat.

www.modacar.com also sells bars for our car and has for quite some time. My friend got one for his MSP and it seems to be just fine. I don't know how the CTI bar is but I'm sure it's great and Nate has only said good things about it.

Yeah comfort is a bit well non existent so to speak lol. Reclining the seat will be limited and people in the back seat will be somewhat restricted, not to mention god forbid you have someone in the back when you need to brake hard. They will have a nice slamming in the face. A buddy of mine had an Sti and a sparco bar/harness and man did it feel good, but the one day I had to sit in the back, it sucked. Although that CTI bar seems to swing out behind the seats a lot more than his sparco bar did, so it could be even worse.

Also keep in mind that if you plan to compete in any sort of auto-x/RR event, there's a lot of times where most harness bars will not be approved so, just keep that in mind. ;)

I will say this though. When I was in his sti, those harness' did hold us real tight and it was good because you could really feel how the car was acting and helped us decide what we needed to address next to fit his driving style. I liked it

Actually modacar does not sell them anymore. The manufacturer stopped making them and Nevin tried to get a hold of them and that's what he found out. Its no longer listed on modacar.

So we've all be waiting for one and CTI is the only one who makes them now.

Ahhhh, that's a bit of a drive! If only your were closer I would take you on that offer.

Really? Is there a how-to w/pics? Always thought an interior/upholstry(sp?) shop needed to do it.

im no uphosterly expert but its not rocket science to reuposter your whole car.

and when you buy the inserts it comes with pics and instructions.

i just didnt listen when they said to remove the seat cover.

it was a PITA when i firest reuphostered the interior and i didnt wanna do it again. so i was able to do it with the cover on.

an if my handycap @ss can do it then you defetnely can.:pizza:

The only company I'm aware of that sells the inserts is CBD (Carbon By Design). Are these the ones you got?

I may give this a try on my own :bigwink:

    Lol @ the drunk comment.

The seats look great! Cheryl just asked me about the seat covers / reupholstry. I don't think I can do that gist of it... just probably can do only the inserts.
