You guys just go for the bling. You should be going for function with bling. Little rubber bumps aren't doing much of anything for grip except for possibly lessening it. And you don't want any grip at all on the go pedal. Most people drive with their right heal on the floor most of the time and in order to depress the gas pedal it has to slide on your shoe. Maybe a different story if you're going to be doing heal/toe but we don't have a clutch pedal. You want holes in both pedals with raised edges on the brake pedal. sheesh
Considering this Chally IS an LX, the pedals will fit. They look very close to mine other than the added rubber at the bottom. And Dave, the added rubber is of no hinderence when mashing the go peddle.
hehehehe....that's what I'm thinking too lol...besides, I don't know if SRT/Mopar would make a pedal that would degrade the feel for the car...
They don't degrade the feel for the car. They just aren't performance pedals. And they're probably almost as good as performance pedals if it's dry and clean and not too cold or if you make sure to change into your Piloti shoes after you get into the car. The difference comes when it's wet out and on your shoes or a bit of snow or if you happen to almost miss the pedal at some critical moment or get a precarious footing on it that slips off a bit later...
Now you have me worried lol....I just think Mopar would have thought of that as it would raise a definite liability issue. Pedal grip is serious stuff in any condition. But, really, I guess I am about the bling on this lol....I have no real need for anything beyond the factory pedals which are ugly but work as they should. These look cool when someone opens your door and sees them. Don't know how important a better pedal would be for me anyways since I prefer drag racing.
I honestly think you are going to get the most feel/sensitivity out of purpose built driving shoes. I've driven cars with stock pedals, racing pedals, and the rubber tabbed ones like you've posted Milan. Unless you are heal-toe-down shifting there aren't that many dynamics that are going to be impeded by the SRT pedals. But, to be fair to Dave, a slick metal surface would allow for the smoothest throttle control if you are driving correctly and keeping your heel planted.

Just an FYI for you guys....if your ride is equipped with pedal adjustment, the brake pedal from this kit will NOT fit. I just got off the phone with Ted from MSC! Thanks Ted! Way to keep an eye out!
