I see how it is! I leave Walter Matthau a message eariler and he never calls me back. You two wonder bread ends are now setting a date to do some nude rally racing. That's the last time I show you guys how to get my cousins to leave you alone when you go to Home Depot:hypno:

Ryan....WHAT are your shift points set at? Just as I thought....NOT raised! The first thing we need to do is raise your shift points and lower your fan temp settings! SERIOUSLY!!

I wouldnt suggest raising the shift points at this point. The fan settings for sure can be lowered.

Sounds good to me. I'm heading North sometime Friday. Hopefully we can get together before I head up, if not next week.

You're going to let "carpet hacker" Rick adjust your fans and shift points? I wouldn't touch your shift points until you talk to Vortech and/or a HEMI engine builder about spring seat pressure and boost at high RPMS.

In addition, your stock points might be perfect for your power curve. I'd need to see your dyno graph up close to be sure, but your peak torque hits not too far above where you'll drop down to on the stock shift.

Yea, I agree Ryan, I wouldn't mess with how Vortech set it up ... at least for a while. Nothing against Rick it's just I've seen (yes, personally ... sigh) things go wrong, very wrong, when you mess with the tune of a supercharged engine and don't really know what you're doing (yes, I had no idea ... it went BOOOM!!).

BTW Ryan, is yours the first finished up with the Vortech??

How would you know? (<-- that's the point).

Another consideration: I know it's really hard not to tinker but maybe it would be a good idea to wait until you have the written guarantee in hand? You know... just so you know exactly what it says before you do whatever you're going to do. This is a new application after all and, on the outside chance that something catastrophic happens it's probably going to come down to what's on paper.
