Troopers said Oscar Rivera of Orlando was heading north around 2:30 a.m., when he lost control of his car and ended up hitting a second car. Both vehicles swerved off the roadway. Rivera's car overturned and hit a utility pole. The driver of the second car had minor injuries.
Yes, its a very dangerous road and busy road. Been on it numerous of times when I lived in Orlando. Parts of it is only 2 lanes.
Sits lower then the top (roof) of the car. Any direct impact will damage it though. Usually on roll over cases it doesn't even touch anything.
i know where that is, and the road way is not too bad. it is actually less than an 1/8th of a mile from my office...... that late, could be a lot of factors from sleep, racing, drinking, etc. very sad any way you look at it! i know that much of OBT in the south part of orlando, especially that intersection of OBT and Central Florida Prkwy is a friggin race track at those times in the early morning hours!!!
