Pics of the 1 step and 2nd step colder iridium spark plug part numbers that fit our hemi heads. I ran these with my nitrous with no problem gapped at .038. Platinum are a no-no with Nitrous.... but the Iridiums hold up.
Lulz.....Those are the same iridiums I used in my neon......same size and heat range. I don't use them anymore, but I did.
Steve, go with the Copper Cores. I was running the Iridium 6's then switched to the Coppers. Much better buddy.
Really.....I ran them in my nitrous 6.1 with no problem......but have heard the Copper were a better choice than the Platinum for sure. What the heck...one more credit card charge! Thanks, Ron
lol I know whatcha mean Steve. The Coppers seem to have a better spark than the Iridiums. Don't get me wrong, both are GREAT, but IMO the Coppers are better. And if memory serves me correctly, the Coppers a a tad cheaper.
I ordered Iridiums for my NOS install and they never came in in time so I put the NGK V's in ...They are stock heat range and seem to be doing fine...I still have Iridiums brand new never used...
Like I said, these are the same size as the neon... And I use the champion coppers. They work the bes for me. And, at 7 bucks a set, the are WAAAAAAAAAAY cheaper.
Yes siiiiiiiir. But don't forget, us Hemi guys have to buy 16 plugs.. haha So every bit of savings helps.
Copper's all the way with Nitrous. I was running one of the early and first NOS systems (the initial release of the the 125hp PowerShot system), back in 84 in a 350 Nova SS. Ran nothing but Champion coppers (not much choice either back then), and they performed great. Even though I'm not running Nitrous in the Jeep, I did switch out the stock plugs for copper NGK's. Very pleased with the results.
