Very sad. Condolences go out to all the families involved. Another reminder why street racing is never something you should do.

As ironic as this may sound, there are certain rules to follow if you are going to engage in a street race. Man, I feel for the families of all involved, but imagine if a kid on a bike or a family walking had been in the way. You just don't street race in residential or populated areas. Prayers to the familes as well.

I don't feel sorry for the driver of the car at all. He had it coming for him.

wow, this is soooo sad. as luis said, people can not even attempt to do this kind of driving while in a populated residential areas in the middle of the day!!!! too many variable the drivers can not control thatcould lead to disaster!!!! big open roads, or freeways, with minimal to zero traffic...... if not, go to a track.....

and a DSM at that. :getlost:

Joking aside its a shame how many teens have been taken out by srt4's. I never understood it growing up but my parents had a few rules when it came to cars. No more than 4 cylinders and no more than 220 hp. Pissed me off but looking back I understand why I was way to stupid to deal with more car than that.

well up goes the value of are cars......to bad it involved somebody losing their life.
i know when i was looking at my nsrt a high school kid and his dad were looking at it. told the dad if you love your son dont let him get this car.....he'll kill himself.
its really sad that this happened. especially to someone so young. all i know is teenagers get boosted cars and watch out. torque steer ftmfl.

get your kids a beater (honda) for their first car.
